TURN BACK TO JESUSPaul Dhinakaran
Dearly beloved,
Lord Jesus will renew the lives of those who turn back to Him. He will restore His blessings to them.
Today, you may be overcome by fear. Many youths today are surrounded by the darkness of depression.
Hundreds of letters are received from young men and women every day at the Jesus Calls office. Many of them write: “I have no future whatever. I am greatly depressed. Isn’t there a way out for me?”
Look at the two disciples of Lord Jesus- Peter and Judas. He had done so much good to them. Yet Peter denied Him. Judas betrayed Him to be crucified.
Both were very ungrateful to their Master. Judas was seized with remorse, and in mental agony, went and hanged himself.
But what did Peter do? His eyes were suddenly opened! He realized then how much Lord Jesus loved him. But he had denied all knowledge of Him. “And he went outside and wept bitterly” (Luke 22:62).
The Bible says, “Christ Jesus…is also interceding for us” (Romans 8:34). Every day, Lord Jesus intercedes for us to God the Father: “Father! Your son/daughter mustn’t stray from you. He mustn’t deny you! Please help him.” That is why we are saved to survive today.
Dearly beloved! Are you perhaps depressed? Aren’t you able to pray? Do you languish unable to talk to God and receive miracles from Him? Do exactly what Peter did. He turned back to Lord Jesus, wept bitterly and sought forgiveness. He became a new creature.
Today, Lord Jesus is ready to forgive you also. Seek His feet and cry out in tears. He will forgive you. He will grant you a new life. He will accompany you when you go to your school or college, office or factory. He will bless you!
Prayer:
Loving Lord Jesus,
I have been living far away from You. I turn back to You and seek your forgiveness. I seek your feet and cry out to You in tears. Forgive me and protect my soul. Renew my life and restore your blessings to me.
In Your matchless name I pray.
