SUPERNATURAL WISDOMPaul Dhinakaran
Dearly beloved, the Lord gives us wisdom. The Scripture says, “If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him” (James 1:5).
My father failed twice in his B.Sc degree examination. Only after that he found Lord Jesus Christ. While he was preparing for his examination, his practical examination intervened. He could not understand anything as he had not attended the classes regularly.
Opening the textbook he prayed: “God! Please help me.” Suddenly he heard a voice: “Why shouldn’t you get a question from this chapter?” He looked at it but could not understand anything.
He ran to an expert on the subject ten minutes before he entered the examination hall. He explained it very clearly to my father. Then he entered the examination hall boldly. Wonder of wonders! That very question was there in the question paper. He answered it very well and qualified himself for the B.Sc. degree.
This is exactly what the Holy Spirit does for us. Often times we say: “All others have wisdom. I alone do not have that. I do not have a retentive memory. So I fail in all my efforts.”
But when the Holy Spirit is in you, He will show you everything. You will feel the power of God manifested in a supernatural way. He will teach you what to study and how to study. You can receive supernatural assistance from God. I studied like that and came out successful in my examinations.
Sometimes we are worried and say: “Everyone in my office is capable. They all endear themselves to their higher officials and get their promotions. They know how to please their bosses. But I do not know anything and so I rot without any promotion.”
However, when the Holy Spirit dwells in us, He gives us supernatural wisdom. He will make our bosses understand us and even make them bow before us. The God of Paul is with us. The Holy Spirit who made Paul victorious is with us today. He will make you successful and honour you in your school, college, office and society.
Prayer:
Loving Lord Jesus,
You are generous. You have promised to give to those who ask for your blessings. I ask for your wisdom. I surrender my life to You. Come and dwell in me and fill me with your wisdom. Take control of my future. Guide me in all aspects of my life and grant me success in all my efforts.
In Your matchless name I pray.
